The 13th Swimming Gala

On 6th October 2016, the 13th Swimming Gala was held at Ma On Shan Swimming Pool. With fine weather in the morning, it was an enjoyable day for all students, teachers and parents.

The Opening Ceremony was conducted at 9:00 a.m. We were honoured to have our IMC Manager Prof. Wong Kam Fai, MH to deliver the Opening Speech. He encouraged all swimmers to strive for their best performance and reminded all students to participate actively and support each other.

On that day, a number of individual events, as well as the Inter-house and Inter-class Relay Competitions were organised. In the Closing Ceremony, we were honored to have The Head Swimming Coach from the Hong Kong Sports Institute Mr. Chen Jianhong to deliver a speech and presented trophies to our winners.

The Annual Swimming Gala provided a good opportunity for students to learn from competition and apply what they have learnt in their Physical Education lessons and put it into practice in this swimming event.
