Congratulations to our alumnus, Nicholas Edward Choi for winning a Silver Medal in men's foil individual at the 13th National Games of China

Our alumnus Nicholas Edward Choi, has won a silver medal in the men's foil individual at the 13th National Games of China in Tianjin. He is the first Hong Kong fencer to win the silver medal in this event.

On 29th August 2017, Nicholas Edward Choi won Ma Jianfei, whom defeated Choi in the Incheon Asian Games, by 14:13 in the additional minute in the quarter-final and entered top 4. In the semi-final, Nicholas Edward Choi won Li Chen from Jiangsu by one point again in the additional minute by 12:11 and went into the final.

Nicholas' first silver medal in this National Game has made a new record in the Hong Kong fencing history. We would like to express our congratulations to Nicholas, for his achievement in the men’s foil individual at the tournament.
