Distinguished Chinese Scientists Lecture Series
S4 and S5 Physics students were in for a treat on 23rd June, as they were invited to join a lecture about China's space exploration endeavours at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).
Leading space programme scientists were invited as speakers for seminars in the Distinguished Chinese Scientists Lecture Series held at PolyU, with aims to share the development of the Nation’s aerospace industry and promote scientific spirit. Qi Faren, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Designer of Shenzhou spaceship, gave a talk to our students on that day.
The seminar was with no doubt a precious opportunity for students to widen their horizons and learn more in terms of space, science and technology. With Innovative Technology being one of the focal areas of our school curriculum, activities like this definitely excite students, and inspire them to ignite their creativity and put their knowledge into practice!
傑出華人科學家講座
本校中四及中五修讀物理的學生於6月23日獲邀到香港理工大學出席「航天科學家團隊進校園暨當代傑出學生華人科學家公開講座」活動。
當日的主講嘉賓是中國頂尖科學家——中國工程院院士及神州飛船首任總設計師戚發軔，他就「中國航天與航天精神」這個主題作分享。本校學生有幸參與是次活動，拓寬眼界，增長對太空、科學和科技的知識。
