大連交流學習之旅 Dailian Exchange Tour

This summer holiday, LTFC held the 2023 Dalian Learning Trip from July 18th to 23rd. Our School Supervisor, Dr. Lam Tai Fai, led our group of teachers and fellow students on a 6-day visit filled with meaningful and educational activities.
在暑假期間，林大輝中學於7月18日至7月23日舉辦了中國大連交流團，並由校監林大輝博士帶領本校一眾師生參與一系列富有教育意義的活動。

On this trip, the group visited Lüshun City and its many famous historical attractions, including the Lüshun Russo-Japanese Prison, Baiyu Mountain, Dongjiguan Mountain Fortress, and many others. On one hand, students were able to witness the broad landscape and stunning natural views, while on the other hand, they were given the opportunity to glimpse the rich historical background of the city. All the participants were enriched with a more comprehensive understanding on the history of China and had their sense of national identity strengthened.
旅程中，參與的師生們於旅順參觀了不少深具歷史價值的遺址，當中包括「旅順日俄監獄博物館」、「白玉山」、「東雞冠山北堡壘」等，師生們不但可以觀賞旅順壯麗的山河景色，也能對這座充滿歷史痕跡的城市加深了解。師生們也因此對近代中國歷史有更全面的認識，增強了對國民身份認同的體會。

Another significant event of the trip was the exchange visit at LTFC's sister school, China Education Science Study Institute Dalian Jinshitan Experimental School. During the visit, our group was warmly greeted by the school's representatives. Dr. Lam and our Principal, Mr. Kwok, gave speeches expressing our delight and honor to participate in the exchange visit. Students and teachers from both schools teamed up to complete various activities and tours. Students also showcased their talents during a performance session, further deepening the bond between the two schools.
交流團中另一項重要的活動就是拜訪與林大輝中學締結了姐妹學校關係的學校，「中國教育科學研究院大連金石灘實驗學校」。本校師生一到埗便受到了姐妹學校的熱情歡迎，本校校監林大輝博士及郭劍輝校長也對今次的拜訪感到十分榮幸，並對「大連金石灘實驗學校」表達感謝之情。兩校師生們於當天進行組成不同的組別進行活動，兩校學生們也在表演環節盡展個人才華，成功加深兩地學生情誼。

Throughout the trip, students and teachers were immersed in Dalian's cultural and historical atmosphere, which provided them with an eye-opening experience and a valuable opportunity to explore unfamiliar areas of our country. LTFC is grateful for this visit and hopes for more similar opportunities for cultural and educational exchange in the future.
本校師生們於這次交流團中得以沈浸在大連的歷史文化氣息當中，同時也是一個擴闊眼界的寶貴機會，讓師生們得以見識到祖國的獨特及具魅力的一面。林大輝中學對是次交流團感到十分欣喜，並期待日後有更多的機會進行對師生有所裨益的文化及教育交流。
