Students Embrace the Fusion of AI and Design
Our students recently had the incredible opportunity to visit the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence in Design (AiDLab), a ground-breaking research platform jointly established by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and the Royal College of Art (RCA) in the UK. AiDLab is at the forefront of pioneering the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and design, driving innovation and sustainability.
During the visit, our students immersed themselves in the transformative potential of combining AI and design. They explored cutting-edge research projects, witnessing first-hand how AI enhances creativity and improves societal well-being. This eye-opening experience ignited their imagination, inspiring them to envision a future where AI and design synergistically benefit people and the planet.
We applaud our students for their engagement in shaping this promising future. Their visit to AiDLab has undoubtedly broadened their perspectives and empowered them to explore the dynamic possibilities of AI and design.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Prof. Kit Yick, School of Fashion and Textiles of PolyU, and Barry Tai, Senior Manager, Business Development of AiDLab, for their warm hospitality during the visit. Their expertise and leadership in AI and design have been instrumental in shaping the future of this field.
