Exploring Innovation and Art Technology: A Visit to Hong Kong Polytechnic University

Our school recently organized an immersive visit to Hong Kong Polytechnic University, offering our students a remarkable opportunity to delve into the realms of innovation, technology, arts, and design. This enriching experience aimed to foster their interest and understanding in these fields, while exposing them to cutting-edge technologies, industry practices, and creative disciplines.

The visit commenced with an exploration of the University Research Facility in 3D Printing, where students were mesmerized by the transformative power of additive manufacturing. Witnessing groundbreaking advancements in 3D printing technology sparked their curiosity and expanded their horizons.

Next, our students ventured into the Industrial Centre, where they witnessed the convergence of innovation and industry. Engaging with state-of-the-art machinery, they gained insight into how technology is reshaping traditional manufacturing processes and were inspired to envision their role in shaping the future of industry.

The School of Design provided a creative haven, where students immersed themselves in the world of arts and design. Exploring various design disciplines, they gained a deeper appreciation for the creative process and its impact on solving real-world problems.

The visit concluded at the Aviation Service Research Centre, where students delved into the fascinating world of aviation technology and research. They learned about the latest developments in the field, including drone technology and sustainable aviation practices, igniting their interest in the intersection of technology and transportation.
