Parents' Day Outing to Kat O and Lai Chi Wo
On January 10, our school community enjoyed a memorable PTA Outing to the stunning island of Kat O and historical village of Lai Chi Wo in Hong Kong. The day started with a scenic boat ride that provided breathtaking views of the coastline and crystal-clear waters, setting the tone for an adventure-filled day.
Upon reaching Kat O, families were treated to a delicious seafood lunch, featuring the freshest catches prepared with local flavours. It was a fantastic opportunity for parents and teachers to connect over a shared love for food while students enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere.
After lunch, the group hopped on a boat to Lai Chi Wo, where they were greeted by lush greenery and rich cultural heritage. Walking through the village, parents and children alike learned about the area's fascinating history, from its ancient architecture to traditional practices.
The outing emphasized not just the beauty of nature, but also the importance of preserving our environment and community. Everyone returned home with cherished memories and a renewed appreciation for Hong Kong's natural treasures. A huge thank you to all the families who joined us on this incredible journey!
