Singapore English and Culture Study Tour 2013
A group of 41 JS1-SS2 students, led by two English teachers, visited Singapore from 1 to 14 August 2013. This tour aimed to provide an enjoyable and language-rich environment for our students to apply English and expand their horizons during their stay.Apart from having fun at the Universal Studio, the students also participated in a series of educational activities, such as visiting the NEWater Visitor Center, Civil Defence Gallery and Maritime Experiential Museum. This tour enabled our students to develop a real insight into Singapore, a bustling and multi-racial cosmopolitan country. Students also embarked on a heritage trail and enjoyed the sights and sounds at various cultural sites, notably Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam.
