Setting Guinness World Record with 1,000 People Together

In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the founding of the Lam Tai Fai College, the school organized an event titled “Setting Guinness World Record with 1,000 People Together” on the 6th July 2014 at Sha Tin Sports Ground.

We were honored to have Mr Lui Lai Yee, Consultant of the Volleyball Association of Hong Kong, China, to be the Honorable Consultant of this record-setting event. Also, we would like to deeply thank our School Supervisor – Dr. Lam Tai Fai SBS, BBS, JP, and School Managers - Mr. John Fan Kam Ping, BBS, JP, Prof. Chung Pak Kwong, and Mr. Alex Wong Chun Bong, for their presence and support.

During the event, our guests, parents, teachers, alumni and students, wore hats in blue, white and green colours to form “The Largest Human Mountain Image”, which is derived from our school badge, to set a new Guinness World Record together.

After setting the new record, a series of performances including Chinese Dance, Cheering Team, Wushu, Rope Skipping, Breakdance and Freestyle Football were given. This event was the last celebratory activity for the 10th Anniversary of Lam Tai Fai College and it has certainly marked a new chapter in our school’s history.
