Dr. Ken Chu, Chairman & CEO of Mission Hills Group, visited LTFC and

spoke on ‘Tourism in China and Opportunities for Hong Kong Youth’

Dr. Ken Chu, Chairman & CEO of the Mission Hills Group, was invited to our school as a guest speaker in the Life-wide Learning lessons on 8th May 2015. 

Dr. Chu is known across China as ‘Mr. Golf’ and is consistently ranked as one of the most powerful people in the golf industry. He has now established the world’s largest golf club and spa resort, Mission Hills Shenzhen and Mission Hills Haikou. Until now, Dr. Chu has brought more than 100 international tournaments to China.

During their visit, Dr Chu was accompanied by Dr. Lam Tai Fai, School Supervisor, and Mr. Raymond Wong Kwong Wai, Principal, and was taken on a guided campus tour and introduced to the first-class school facilities and our Fashion Centres. After that, Dr. Chu shared his insight at the School Hall with our students about the current development of tourism in China and how Hong Kong youth could capitalize on the opportunities associated with it. 

In the Q&A Session, Dr. Chu gave our students a lot of useful advice and tips on career planning. We thanked Dr. Chu for his words of wisdom and our students really learned a lot from him.
