Lam Tai Fai College (LTFC) has produced countless elite athletes including Cheung Ka Long, Wong Chun Ting and Lau Mo Sheung Grace. According to School supervisor, Dr. Lam Tai Fai, this success was made possible due to two factors –persists on emphasizing the importance for students' sporting development and always aim at creating a sporting atmosphere in the school. Since LTFC was firstly set up, the school aims at nurturing wholesome personal growth and the intellectual development of youths through a comprehensive, challenging and broadening curriculum that enhances academic, aesthetic and physical development. Therefore, the school's teachers, curriculum and facilities all working hand in hand to help students find their interests and unleash their sporting potential.
Dr. Lam Tai Fai added that a special curriculum and training methods would be provided to those who showed potential in sports. With special thanks to the Partnership School Program (PSP) organized along with the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI), students can now focus on both their studies and sporting development.
Although the PSP had not been introduced during Cheung Ka Long's study at LTFC, causing him to put his studies on hold to pursue his dream. Now, student-athletes are provided with ample support from the school, as well as, the HKSI. Under the Program, these student-athletes have lessons in the morning and training in the afternoon. Shuttle bus service to transport them back and forth from school to the HKSI. In addition, accommodation in HKSI is also provided.
With Cheung Ka Long's success in the Olympics, Dr. Lam believes that fencing will surely grow in popularity in the future. Therefore, the school will adjust the fencing programme accordingly in order to satisfy the future developments. Apart from the increase in resources from the school, Dr. Lam also praised the Hong Kong Government for their support in recent sports development. He hopes that the Government can also allocate more resources to improve the quality of training grounds and facilities as well as more support for experienced and professional coaches. Moreover, more focus on the development of sports science is also necessary. He also highlighted the importance of improving the quality of the youth development system. With these in mind, it won't be long before LTFC produces the next Cheung Ka Long.

林大輝中學育體壇精英——劍擊金牌得主張家朗的母校 奧運獎牌搖籃
林大輝中學培養了很多體壇精英，包括今屆參與東京奧運的選手張家朗、黃鎮廷和劉慕裳等。校監林大輝博士表示，學校的成功源於兩大因素——校方重視學生體育發展及校內有濃厚體育氣氛。林大輝中學自創校以來便注重學生體育發展，因此，在教師、課程和設施上均配合學生培養和發展體育潛能。
林大輝博士又表示，學校更設有特別為運動員學生而設的課程，就是與香港體育學院合辦的夥伴學校計畫，讓學生同時兼顧學業和體育發展。此課程在張家朗就讀時尚未設立，導致張要放棄學業追逐運動夢，現時學生運動員卻能得到學校及體院的支持，只在早上上課，方便參與下午的訓練，還有穿梭巴士接載往返學校和體院，更能在體院住宿。
在張家朗奪得奧運金牌後，林大輝博士相信劍擊將會更受歡迎，因此學校將會增加相應的資源。此外，林大輝博士更讚揚香港政府近年對體育的支持，並希望政府會改善體育場地和教練，及注重體育科學的發展。他更強調改善青年發展計劃的重要性。在這些方面的協助下，林大輝中學出產下一位張家朗不會是很久後的事。
