Awardee of Distinguished Visual Arts Work -
Law Pui Ki of Lam Tai Fai College, Artistic Talent Reaffirmed

Our S.7 Visual Arts student, Law Pui Ki won 2nd Runner-up (Two Dimensional Group) in ‘Exhibition of Secondary School Students’ Creative Visual Arts Work 2009’ and her talent was fully recognized in the Prize Presentation Ceremony on 13th July 2009.

'Exhibition of Secondary School Students' Creative Visual Arts Work' is an annual showcase organized by the Education Bureau (EDB), which aims at recognizing the performance and talents of students in Visual Arts from the schools in Hong Kong.

This year, there were 150 participating secondary schools and the number of artwork submission hit 1200. Finally, only 500 pieces of works were selected to the showcase. Among them, the outstanding work of Pui Ki emerged as one of the few awardees for the distinguished prizes.

The sensational selection of subject and solid skill demonstrated by Pui Ki overwhelmed the adjudicators. These made her painting stand out from the entries and awarded with the prize of 2nd Runner-up in the Two Dimensional Group.
